I Ask The Earth
I ask my beautiful and sweet earth
To from tragedy always spare us.
To all war make disappear today
And also to protect us from that great tremor that afflict us.
You just have to know that we already have understood your message.
We know you deserve respect and support
And never again such savage destruction.
To today and always you may spare us from
Major earthquakes.
And so for the good of all and those who will come
Let’s find new moments of compassion and love.
Let it be known that everything stays in the cosmic memory.
To demand from us a commitment that would not be foolish.
But smart, true, and full of glory.
Since I’m not a poet, I say goodbye to you now
To enter into prayer with my wise and beautiful Earth,
The prayer that my inner little bell reveals to me
That rings and rings for the love that binds us.
Le Pido A La Tierra
Le pido a mi hermosa y dulce tierra
Que de la tragedia siempre nos libre.
Que haga desaparecer toda guerra hoy
Y también nos proteja de este gran temblor que nos acosa.
Tienes que saber que ya entendimos tu mensaje.
Sabemos que mereces respeto y apoyo.
Y nunca más una destrucción tan salvaje.
Que hoy y siempre pueda evitarnos
Grandes terremotos.
Y así por el bien de todos y de los que vendrán
Encontremos nuevos momentos de compasión y amor.
Que se sepa que todo queda en la memoria cósmica.
Exige de nosotros un compromiso que no sea insensato,
Sino inteligente, verdadero y lleno de gloria.
Como no soy poeta me despido de ustedes ya,
Para entrar en oración con mi sabia y hermosa Tierra.
La oración que me revela mi campanita interior,
Que suena y suena sin parar por el amor que nos une.
